Weight Comparison Chart
To find the weight of an article in a metal different from that in which it is now made:
- Find the present metal in the first vertical column.
- Multiply the present weight by the factor in
the same horizontal row under the new metal.
Example: A sterling silver ring weighs 8 grams, what will it weigh in 14 kt.?
- Along the horizontal row marked Stg in the first column under the heading 14 Kt we find 1.25 x 8 = 10 grams, weight in 14 kt

Ring size conversion table
A ring is an intimate jewel, this is important to choose a size that fit well to your finger. Find bellow some tips that will help you to find the good one :
- Measure your finger size at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest (like sizing shoes).
- Don’t measure finger sizes when your hands are cold; let them warm up to room temperature.
- The width of a ring is an important factor in determining the right finger size.
- A wider ring may require a slightly larger size, because it covers more of your finger.
- Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around your finger.
- Mark the point where the two ends meet.
- Measure the string or paper against a ruler to get the circumference of your finger.
- Divide that by 3.14 to get the diameter of your finger.
- Look up your ring size using the table shown below.
